In this powerful Lenten exhibit, 40 modern works of art — one for each day of the journey to Easter — depict the Blessed Virgin Mary compassionately cradling the crucified body of her son, Jesus, inviting reflection on sacrifice and grief.
Artwork on loan from John A. Kohan's Sacred Art Pilgrim Collection is accompanied by selections from the Marian Library's Art and Artifacts Collection.
Open during Roesch Library hours. Check the calendar before visiting. Hours vary. Closed March 15, 16 and 22; April 18–20.
